Dr. Kim Weiss is a clinical psychologist who concentrates on working with people who are struggling with becoming pregnant, carrying a pregnancy to term, and making decisions about fertility treatment or pregnancy management. She also provides psychotherapy to parents experiencing postpartum depression or those having trouble adjusting to parenting. She has a special interest in the various ways that hormonal changes can affect mood, anxiety, and irritability.
Dr. Weiss is also a certified nutrition coach who works with people toward weight loss, nutrition, and general wellness by improving lifestyle behaviors. Her habit-based nutrition program is focused on helping people change their eating habits one by one until goals are reached and can be sustained.

Meet Kim Weiss, PhD
Dr. Kim Weiss is one of a small number of mental health professionals in the country with formal, specialized, post-doctoral fellowship training in the psychological aspects of infertility. After earning her Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Cornell University, she earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Fordham University, with concentrations in Health/Neuropsychology and Child/Family Psychology. She became a Post-doctoral Fellow at the Center for Reproductive Medicine and Infertility at Weill Cornell Medical Center, where she trained under internationally known experts in the field of fertility. As a licensed psychologist, she has been working in infertility centers and has maintained a private practice focusing on reproductive health since 2000. She is affiliated with The Valley Hospital and has a private practice in Ridgewood, New Jersey. Dr. Weiss works closely with reproductive endocrinologists, allowing her to understand the medical diagnoses and treatments that patients face. She constantly updates her knowledge by attending professional conferences and reading professional journals.
